The project consisted of the design, construction, and commissioning of a new 64,000 SF addition that was added to the existing Mathias Laboratory, as well as the renovation of the existing 20,000+ SF building. The intent of the new space was to bring all research under one roof and provide flexible laboratories and support spaces with room for growth. The following systems or components are included in the commissioning scope of work for this project: mechanical systems, HVAC systems, building automation system – all sequences, electrical, plumbing systems including domestic hot recirculated pure water, life safety and fire alarm interface with BAS.
